Introduction & Biography
Angela Hamilton is an executive coach and trusted advisor to CEOs and senior leaders. Specifically,
navigating complex business transformation, leadership transitions, and growth
inflection points. She brings more than two decades of experience at the intersection of
business strategy, commercial leadership, and human capital. She brings a rare blend of
enterprise perspective and practical, results-oriented insight.
Angela partners with executives to build clarity, confidence, and effectiveness in
moments that matter most. Whether stepping into a new leadership role, leading
through ambiguity, strengthening executive presence, or aligning leadership behavior
with business outcomes. Her coaching approach is grounded, direct, and highly
contextual, helping leaders translate insight into sustained impact.
A defining focus of Angela’s work is supporting high-potential female leaders as they
advance into senior and enterprise-level roles. Dhe helps women leaders navigate complexity,
amplify influence, and lead with authenticity while meeting the demands of high-stakes
business environments. Drawing on her own executive journey and deep organizational experience.
Angela’s background uniquely spans both industry and management consulting. Prior to
joining CO2, she spent over a decade in human capital consulting. Including serving as
a Senior Client Partner at Korn Ferry, a member of the firm’s Board, and CEO
Assessment and Succession Practice. In this role, she advised boards, CEOs, and
executive teams on leadership assessment, succession planning, governance, and
talent strategy.
Earlier in her career, Angela held senior leadership roles at Cargill, where she served as
a Vice President and commercial leader on a global business unit leadership team. She
also led Cargill’s Commercial Leadership Practice within the HR Talent Center of
Expertise. This impacted more than 40 businesses across 70 countries. Her career also
includes leadership experience at The Estée Lauder Companies and Target
Corporation. This further grounding her work in real-world operating environments.
Angela holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with dual concentrations in Human
Resources, Management, and Marketing from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. There,
she has served on the Wisconsin School of Business Alumni Board. She is
certified in Korn Ferry’s suite of assessment tools, Gallup StrengthsFinder, and
additional leadership assessment instruments.
